Beth Shirk, Watermedia Artist
For the first twenty years of her career Elizabeth (Beth) Shirk specialized in intaglio printmaking. While obtaining her degree in art from San Diego State University she studied with Paul Lingren. Later she was a student of Justine Wolfson. Beths prints received numerous awards including Best of Show at the San Diego Print Club. They can be found in dozens of private collections. Today, Beth is working in watermedia. She has served on the board of directors of the San Diego Watercolor Society. Her paintings can often be seen in juried exhibitions at the San Diego Watercolor Societys Gallery and she has twice been included in the prestigious SDWS International Exhibition.
